This 70-foot Seine fishing boat, owned locally by the Assu family, came in for new bottom paint, repairs to its PTO (Power Take Off), and fish holds.
Status: Sailed
The PTO has been rebuilt along with the coupler between the engine and transmission. Rear engine seal was replaced prior to resealing the transmission. Two new bearings for the intermediate propeller shaft have been installed. Fuel has been removed and polished, sight glasses installed on fuel tanks and corroded muffler and exhaust pipes have been replaced.
The two aft fish holds had fibreglass damage. They were cut open, and wood framing and insulation removed. New framing and foam insulation were installed before new fibreglass was laid up and sealed with gel coat.
